The hotel rooms were average. The staff was rude and arrogant. Every thing was over priced. Food was not good and seemed to be made in dalda which was used before as well. The staff did not give basic amenities like soap, water bottles. The usage of water bottle were the money making scheme for them.

We stayed at the HOR Hotel Hanle on our way to Umling La. This place was one of the lovely stays we had on our trip. The rooms were very nice, the food was tasty and the service was good. We were there for 2 nights. JIO network works decently. The temperature was around 3-6°. It is wise to carry disposable heating pads from Decathlon as it will help at night to sleep and keep the body warm. The galaxy was very clearly visible. ISRO observatory was close to the hotel. The owner was kind enough to help us with all our requirements.

Located in the Hanle Village
Newly opened hotel with very scenic beauty 360 degree
Please note that Village Hanle gets power between 7.00 pm to 11.00 pm
Staff very friendly and even got a chance to meet the owner who was very hospitable
There is an observatory tower and ancient Monastery near to the Hotel
But one of most beautiful scenic journey to Village Hanle
Please take a full package with breakfast and dinner.

The worst accomodation we had in our ladakh trip. Super arrogant staff, stale food, smelly rooms, more than 3x overpriced packaged drinking water, no electricity are some of the amenities that this stay would provide to you. Please book your stay at Hanle in advance, else you'll end up in a shitty place like this.

I recently stayed at what I can only describe as a complete disaster of a hotel. The infrastructure was abysmal everything seemed to be falling apart, and it was clear that maintenance was a foreign concept to them. The staff was not only unprofessional but outright arrogant, treating guests with an appalling lack of respect. To make matters worse, the food was inedible, and the prices were shockingly high for the poor quality provided. Basic amenities were non-existent they even had the audacity to charge for water in the room. Save yourself the trouble and avoid this place at all costs.
